About Amigo's Fund
Cultivating the Human-Animal Bond
Amigo was a stray at the Farmington Regional Animal Shelter. I spotted him quaking in his kennel, instantly recognized we belonged together, and adopted him. He panted and shook the whole way back to Albuquerque.
After a couple of rough months, Amigo settled in to life with me, Steven, and Lily, our feline overlord. We couldn't be happier together.
Amigo's Fund celebrates friendship between humans and animals by supporting animal welfare organizations in New Mexico (and a few beyond).

New Mexico Horse Rescue at Walkin N Circles Ranch
Founded in 2002, WNCR rehabilitates, trains and finds adoptive homes for abandoned, abused, and neglected equines.
Equine Spirit Sanctuary
Since 2005 ESS has improved horses' lives through rescue, rehabilitation, and equine-assisted programs for people.
Horseshoe Canyon Rescue Ranch
Founded in 2018, HCRR is a safe haven for horses, near beautiful Abiquiu. Horses not adopted live out their lives at the ranch.
